I can't agree with her statement, because there is absolutely no way that I can lump Beyoncé in with the current generation of pop tarts. Yes, she's managed to maintain consistent success up until this time, but to classify Beyoncé with the current generation, let alone to claim that she's leading it, would suggest she be considered a driving force behind today's market, and she isn't.

Besides, if Beyoncé can be grouped with today's pop crooners, then Britney, Christina, and P!nk would have to be, as well.
