People still don't understand Britney's out of this world career is meant to be seen within the perspective she's the only SOLO female who has exploded in 1998 and who is still having sucess today, still touring and still important to pop music. Something even more impressive knowing the unparalelled rollercoaster that occured from 2004 to 2008.

But I guess, pitting her against girl who will never see 1/4 of her overall sucess and who started 7/10 years after her is easier for some of you... Easier but not objective, at all.

Burlesque has sold 581K in US .. and less than 1M WW ... it was a flop in basically every important market in the world (UK, Germany, US, France) .. and moderate in Japan .... and it is certified in like 2 or 3 countries despite having full promotion and a whole movie performing all the songs of the album... so of course it is far from selling more than FF worldwide
