It started when Alex won. They were as were most of the public, that she was nowhere as good as leona (mainly because she didn't have an excess of high notes (let's face it, that's only where Leona beats Alex, at the very top of the female range). I bet most Leona fans don't like Alex. But why the gotta be scared if their fave is so good? (is it cause Alex sung I'll be there and without you better?

Also she gets hate from JLS fans as she won by a landslide in the final. And her duet was legendary. Just an extra kick in the teeth.

To some extent I agree. She really proved herself with Overcome and did very well. This era however, I feel as though something is lacking, like she's getting lost in the shuffle with everything else. The songs just aren't as memorable this time around. Just my thoughts on her right now.

I wouldn't say memorable is the issue. That only comes with airplay. You remember a song for a reason, and that being it heard and hammered everywhere. JustR1 and Capital... It's really freaking me out.

Featuring a vocal that almost erupts with emotion (“I tried everything to get over you, trying to make it through but nothing ever seems to work”) it's the kind of song that makes you want to dance while tears stream down your cheeks.
Elsewhere the “very sexy” "Between The Sheets" and "Daylight Robbery" bear a stronger R&B influence, whilst the fluttering synths and four to the floor beat of "This Love Will Survive" marries Alexandra's survival extinct (“Sometimes if you really want something you've got to fight. It's telling the other person 'we will survive'”) to a beat that Alexandra rightfully says you'd have to be dead not to dance to.
Then there's the ballad. Of course there's a ballad, that closes the album and features a lone piano and Alexandra's raw emotion speaking directly to the listener.

Its ironic that Alex performed at the Sony radio awards yesterday with Jessie J and Gary Barlow yet she is the one getting all the headlines and none of the radio airplay.
Really Looking forward to this album and will be buying copies for my family.
