ABC has closed a deal with 20th Century Fox TV to renew midseason comedy Don’t Trust The B—- In Apt. 23 for a second season. The deals for two other series, freshman comedy Last Man Standing and veteran drama Private Practice are now being finalized and should close soon too.

ABC’s medical procedural Body Of Proof has been renewed for a third season with a 13-episode order. The series, starring Dana Delany is a big international seller for ABC Studios, which co-produces the series with Matthew Gross Entertainment. It was unclear whether ABC would hold onto a pure procedural like Body of Proof with its schedule, which is dominated by serialized dramas, but its chances have been steadily improving over the last few weeks.

I'm looking forward to Arrow and maybe Cult.

From what deadline is saying, Devious Maids was passed over, Americana has a slight chance left but its not looking good

I think it's a tremendous loss if ABC passes on Devious Maids. Diversity is severely lacking on prime-time television. This show would be a great way to expand culture references on a big network, IMO.

Not a peep from them yet! But They have already renewed almost all their line up. All we need is their new stuff. Most likely 2 dramas, 3 comedies as per usual

ABC is finishing up the slew of new series orders and renewals. The Reba McEntire-starring comedy Malibu Country was the only pilot left in contention when the network made the bulk of its pickups about an hour ago. I hear the multi-camera sitcom will be paired with another multi-camera comedy fronted by a sitcom star Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing. The deal to renew the freshman comedy is almost done. For those keeping score, ABC picked up a total of 9 pilots to series today, five dramas and four comedies.
