At time she's my favourite singer. Her albums in the 80s and 90s were mostly flawless. They always bring such a sense of escapism, melancholy, fragility and hope.

She was a visionnary and many girls have tried to emulate her eccentricity and weird looks but most of them didn't have the depth her material had.
