The public doesn't care much for Katy's vocals, they are typically average live and she isn't consistently panned by the critics and known for her weak voice and lip-syncing. Sure, she's had a handful of terrible performances, but that is far far better than a career-full of lip-syncing and weak vocals.
Britney bc Katy and Ri have made actual attempts as of late. ...even if lackluster.

Where are your receipts for the people calling it fake? And everyone trying to post vids saying "THIS IS BRIT SO GOOD!", how do we know it's not fake like 99.9% of other Brit performances? Either get a live acoustic or a mic feed then come talk

You're trying too hard. She wasn't even TRYING to sound good in that video, the mic was off and again she was dancing her ass off.
She has had countless great live performances and natural vocal talent from the start.
I've seen RIhanna live a handful of times and I can vouch that she can sing. I haven't seen Katy live, but sometimes hearing her vocals hurts my own throat. And I don't remember the last time I heard Britney sing live, and I watched the Femme Fatale Tour DVD (on Netflix).
