Shut Up And Let Me Go sold 8K last week.

And yeah, I'm kinda familiar with korean/japanese charts.

And Maroon 5 is an exception tbh. Moves Like Jagger is the 7th best-selling song ever in Korea. And it is still selling over 50K every week. I gotta agree GaGa is the biggest international artist in Japan tho.

He didn't say Japan is irrelevant, he said Japan's iTunes is irrelevant. The most popular in Japan are Recochoku for digital sales and Oricon for physical sales.

So , tell me , I m really curious about digital sales. I mean if you look at the iTunes slayage , these numbers cant be so irrelevant. Why arent they counted ? I mean no one is counting digital sales ? Does that apply only to Japan or to the rest of Asia as well .

Also , doesnt that iTunes slayage indicate a sales increase in physical retailers as well ?

I think the weekly #1 on iTunes sells over 30K. Considering some songs in Japan crossed the 8 million mark, iTunes is pretty much irrelevant. As I said, Recochoku is the biggest one.
