Unless there's more besides the OP, I dont see them trashing the dress or her look. They just think she was a tad try-hard...I wasn't a fan of the dress either but she was the better of a large group of "just okay", "decent" and "terrible". No woman really slayed last night.

This. I think the dress is beautiful, and Beyoncé has a great figure, but it doesn't really go well with her body type. Someone like Florence Welch would look better in it. Not to mention that outfits like this just don't suit Bey. She's not the eccentric type.

I agree. I wish Bey had cut the Purple train. IMO thats the only downfall. But you can't compare JLO to Bey. JLO is well known to be a red carpet and fashion connoisseur.
