I love animals and don't necessarily think wearing pounds of it is appropriate.. But I also don't believe it's right to think that I should have a say involving what someone wants to wear and do. That's just unnecessary.

I dont really like the look of it. But I do like leather and its the same thing. Plus eating meat is even worse in principal.

What really matters is how the fur or leather is obtained. But i think people are very irrational, hypocritical and confused about fur specifically. Probably because its associated with rich bitches and upper classes. Theyre an easy target to resent.

That's what I've gathered, anyway.

A lot of people oppose fur because of the manner in which the animals are treated prior to being killed. Or the fact that some endangered species may be used for fur. Those are perfectly valid reasons to be against fur.

But aside from that, one should be just as readily opposed to leather or eating meat if they're gonna condemn wearing fur.
