IGN posted Box Office Mojo's predictions on their Foreign grosses:


Here's a forecast from the number-crunching experts at Box Office Mojo as to where they see the big three superhero films going this summer. This is of course just that site's best guesstimate, so take it as such:

-- The Dark Knight Rises: $850 million

-- The Avengers: $580 million

-- The Amazing Spider-Man: $570 million

Domestically, I think the order will be The Dark Knight Rises > The Avengers > The Amazing Spiderman

I think The Dark Knight Rises will gross the most in the end. The Avengers will definitely be second and Spiderman third.

TDK was not that huge in worldwide numbers, most of its gross came from the US.

That being said, Avengers will take the cake worldwide but TDKR will be higher locally.

Yeah its weird because usually big movies should gross higher worldwide than in US.

or maybe the promotion overseas isnt enough.


You're in Asia right? do you remember how was the promotion of TDK? and how is the promotion of the TDKR now?

Surely they knew this and are doing heavy promotions overseas.
