Only one single went #1 with the help of a last minute remix. The E.T remix argument is invalid too since it was released right from the start, plus the original and the remix both went top #3 on iTunes. TOTGA did not reach #1 so there's no point in bringing that up. POM and DU needed to be included in The Complete Confection due to contractual obligations, or else they would've ended in her next album and pull a "Radar", something that wouldn't work at all since they only fit in the "Teenage Dream" era. Now let's not pretend Def Jam and Rihanna are not thirsty for those records and accolades when that's all they strive for.
now shut the **** up.
Rihanna has a bigger and better discography at the moment but her personality is so off-putting and has poor involvement in her work. On the other hand, I love every single aspect of Katy.
I didn't realise it was due to contractual obligations, thanks for informing me. Have you heard about WA being the new single?
The One That Got Away, Firework, Teenage Dream, I Kissed a Girl, Last Friday Night, California Gurls, Wide Awake, ET, Ur So Gay, Waking Up In Vegas, Part of Me, Dressing Up, Thinking of You and Hot N Cold are all amazing songs - and they are just the singles (and to be singles)
The only song I like from that list is ET and TOTGA, and still I'd rather go with Rihanna. Like I said, her music is better
Katy, I prefer her sound and she shows more potential. The remix thing was probably suggested by Rihanna tbh since she did it first and the stunt she pulled with birthday cake is much more tacky than anything Katy has done.
