Let's not talk about who deserved to win what when you haven't even listened to all the nominee's music
The category was best new artists so it's expected that some of the people might not be that well know but there was still PLENTY of buzz about Bon Iver and they were actually for the most part the favorite and predicted in this category. The man put out great music, I understand this is a pop music forum but there is more to music than pop singles and top 40 radio stations. Just because someone isn't as relevant on the radio as Rihanna or Minaj, doesn't reflect the quality of their music at all.
This isn't directed at you specifically but some of people on ATRL need to expand there horizons
