Demi and Selena voices are both distinctives. I could hear them on the radio and recognize them within few seconds.

But then Selena's voice in live is not that distinctive, sometimes I confuse hers with my sister's when she's singing in the shower...

Some people seem a little confused.

Having a distinctive voice means your voice is instantly recognizable and can easily be distinguished from other voices.

So someone can have a terrible singing voice but their voice can still be very distinctive.
