but for example I don't think many singers could replace Selena in LYLALS, but a lot of them could replace her in HTL and it'd still sound well.
I think Demi's the least replacable because her songs are challenging to sing, which makes the sound more unique.

I like Selena's tone the most, it's really pretty and easy to listen to but Demi has the best voice out of the 4 and her voice is probably more distinctive. I don't know who Miranda is.

she is clearly no live singer, i didn't say she can't hit any notes live. But performances of here where she hits 90% of all the notes are rare.. kinda.

Selena and Demi's voices are more distinctive than Carly's and Miranda's. The first time I heard Call Me Maybe, I immediately remembered Miranda's voice in it.

But the thing is nobody's talking about whose voice is powerful and strong. We're talkin about whose is distinctive. Demi sounds pretty much like Kelly while Selena has a pretty distinctive voice imho.
