She seems to have a nice voice and she's pretty. But her material is seriously lacking, if she's going to punch Rihanna out(because thats certainly why she exists) then she's going to have to produce HITS not whatever she's doing. She's shows much more potential now than Rihanna did in her debut though.

Edit: Her tone completely *****. I had to re-listen. Her material is like getting drunk on moscato and trying to club, you'll end up drinking a bunch of water and get sober or drink something harder. If that makes sense.

I know, thats why I'm torn, me personally I dont see that many similarities between them and I like her but this whole Rita vs Rihanna thing and all the constant comparisons just gives Rita a bad vibe for me, especially when they are trying to downgrade Rihanna aswell, I dont wanna dislike Rita but atm whenever I hear her name comparisons follow..

Well, she trys to get some attention and a hit with generic songs at the beginning of her career, like most new artists.
But shes really talented in singing and has a great personality.
I remeber her saying there will be pop music on her debut album and also influences of jazz.
And she credited Gwen Stefani as her idol (not Rihanna ).

I just ignore them. Any potential black girl that does pop will in some way be compared to Rihanna.
