Come on now, it's obviously going to be a really cheesy/**** ending to the music video, where she's standing under a spotlight, arm in the air as she does at the end of a performance, wearing the "iconic" California Dreams outfit (Undecided between 'Katys Kisses' and the Candy Swirls dress) as an advertisement for the movie. I expect a "Katy Perry: Part of Me; in Theaters July 5, 2012" to pop up on the screen at this point too, but maybe they wont go that far... I wouldn't get my hopes up for it being much more than that, honestly.
And i don't understand what she means by Wide Awake being written for the movie. Has the last concert made her wake up to how **** it is being a popstar now and she wishes she never done it? If it really was written for the movie that removes all emotion from the song, it's no longer a sad song about a relationship for me if it was written for the sole intention of advertising the movie...
You know, thinking about it, I wonder if Part of Me was planned to be the summer single? They named the movie after it and all and it actually has a "Look at me, I'm great, nothing can ever bring me down ROAR!" theme to it, so it would've been a much better choice to advertise the movie than Wide Awake, and Dressin' Up was clearly going to be the lead single before Russell and Katy broke up.

POM was planned just the way it happened... Spring release. She said during the... hmm.. Sims stuff filmed in January (I think it was?) And the movie is not JUST a concert. It's a documentary... it's her life... it's her struggles, obstacles, fears, successes, dreams, ect. It's her... it's part of her... aka.. part of me!
