But there needs to be no faux-German. I don't think simply editing it out of the song would help. It needs to be re-done by Gaga in real German, in my opinion.
It being fake German is like the entire point though
It would be a bit pointless because most people would not even understand it anyway. Just shortening it a bit so the English can come faster. The faux-German might become one of the catchiest parts of the song along with the post-chorus.
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh-Oh
Without the the Scheisse, yeah!

That's true. Most of us probably wouldn't know the difference between real and fake. I didn't even know it was fake German until Nicola tweeted it.
But what about her German fans? Wouldn't it be awkward if they heard the song live/on the radio?
idk..i have to ask someone who speaks German to know
but they shouldn't care cuz she clearly states in the song. "I dont speak German but i can if u like" Which in my eyes means when she starts singing the German part it will b all gibberish because she cant speak it

I'm dreading the audience reaction to her performing the song in Cologne.

A German Monster told me that only three words are in German: Ich = I, Fräulein = young lady, Scheiße = ****. He even told he could not even make up a single other word as German, you know, if you an anglophone and someone mispronounces or miswrites an English word you may quickly trace it back to the one it's meant to be. The guy told none of those words even made sense looking at them that way.

She performed the gibberish bit on Germany's Next Top Model (or whatever) and the crowd loved it. Apparently, it's some kind of favorite among German monsters.

Edit: He also told me German radio bans nothing.
Most of the German Monsters I talked to when she first released the song seemed to think she just had a horrible accent but otherwise, was speaking real German.
I don't even know why I think of that But I always think of colors when I think of a song name/hear it. Lady Gaga is one of those people who do that to me.
If only there was a green lighting/aura like there was for Monster, and it went to that strobe light dance during the breakdown. So perfect.

I didn't know she performed it live before TBTWB. Do you have a link to the performance?
