This is devastating news for me, MCA and the Beasties were sucha big part of my youth, one of my favorite artists of all time. I had high hopes that he was going to beat this cancer, he was doing really well lately. We lost a fantastic artist and person. His legacy will live long.

This is so sad. I honestly thought he had been cancer-free for a while, so this came as a huge shock to me. My condolences to his friends, family, and bandmates.
