CURRENT HORROR MOVIE NEWS

- Paranormal Activity 5 has been confirmed for a theatrical release in October of 2013.
- Halloween 3D has been postponed after talks about selling the rights to the upcoming film.
- Final Destination 6 & 7 are rumored to be filmed back to back.
- Neve Campbell (Scream), Sigourney Weaver (Alien), Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) and Danielle Harris (Halloween) hold the record for most appearances in the one horror franchise (4).
- Sequels to the Nightmare and Friday remakes are being strongly considered by Platinum Dunes studios.
- Scream 1, 2 & 4 writer has confirmed that he would not work on a Scream 5.
- The Evil Dead remake has a sequel already in the works
- A Scream TV series for MTV is currently in the works.

I am in pure excitement that this was created. Major Horror movie bluff here. I know a lot about upcoming releases, rumors, and a lot about movies. My favorite movie franchise is Scream. In fact I waited 10 years for Scream 4 to be officially announced.

My all time favorite horror franchise is Scream. The 5th one NEEDS to happen with Kirby in the lead.

I remember when i was young i used to watch so many horror films. I remember that Fear.Dot.Com, White Noise e.t.c

I also love zombie movies like 28 days/weeks later, Dawn Of The Dead, I Am Legend and movies that have to do with the end of the world like The Happening and stuff.

Kirby def needs to be in Scream 5. Kirby never died. Wes confirmed it.
