if lady gaga was gonna be the new judge, no one would be complaining, because she didn't start out with disney. demi and gaga have been famous for the same amount of time but demi is incredibly underrated.

This is rather an interesting choice. Simon trying to appeal to a broader audience. I can honestly see Demi being a great mentor to the younger contestants. She definitely has the talent to back it up. Judging by her tweets, it seems like she doesn't hold back. However, with the on going media attention these type of talent shows bring, can she handle the pressure?
