No. RIM is very outdated. Blackberry's functionality is limited to businessmen while Apple and Android enjoys the market of any age bracket. I actually love blackberries. They are so classy but no. They would die a sudden death in the smartphone era.
If they abandon their non-professional base for 2 years absolutely. Blackberry should focus on what they do best - service professionals. While they're doing that, have a new team revamp the general consumer lines, reduce the models, focus on 2 major products and then launch with a massive PR campaign using social media.
Blackberry is overrated in my country, weird cause i think the function mostly related to business & no entertainment but all the people have it.
And it sucks to a non Blackberry user like me, cause everytime my friend only communicate via BBM & BB Group, i was like
