What defines a flop album??
What defines a flop album people call Rated R a flop when is plat in the US and 3 mill ww and then there is 4 plat in the US and over 2 mill ww and is Female Fatale a flop i mean its plat in the US and WW???

smh these people pretending they can't read 
lack of impact mainly, i guess.
i don't really like calling femme fatale a flop because she really did a good job with her singles this era. just kinda failed with album sales. she still got good reviews, had a successful tour, pulled in another number one album, another platinum, etc.

I feel that sales define the word flop for any album or a single

A flop album is simply an album that didn't sell well.
Now when Atrl talk about a flop album they always include iconic (their fave words) performances, tours, singles, videos when that defines an era as a whole.

Flop album means = Flop singles ( Airplay/Sales wise), Flop album sales ( < 500K WW ), Flop Tour, FLop ALbum reviews ( Metacrtic), Flop production/Lyrics/Fashion direction
And Rated R wass faaaaar from being a flop, it just got compared to its predecesor GGGB, just like BTW was called a flop cz it got compared to TFM.
