So with Fearless only , she sold about 3 million copies .

With Speak Now she sold about 2 million copies or just a little less .

With her debut she sold only 400k or 500k and I'm not denying that , so Taylor sold at least 5 million copies from her 2 albums .

Taylor used to be relevant in 2009 but not anymore honestly not matter she still sell she does not even have 1 like iconic huge single while Avril has around 5 so it's Avril and still is WW maybe only in the US right now Taylor is more.

Speak Now is at about a million still very good but it isn't close to 2 million yet. Fearless I'd say is probably pretty close to 3 million but I don't think its reached that yet. The 10 million sold for Fearless makes you think its reached 3 million outside the U.S. but I'd account the sales more to touring and the albums sold at the tour stops which don't count in soundscan. I'd say a good 200k could come from that

It's not about sales or certificatiosn is relevance in general, Avril is more famous.
and well even sell more all over Asia, I think europe the same, Canada well Avril is from there and no matter what she will always be more relevant there, Australia don't know about Taylor but Avril did great her album was #1 and is close to platinum certification and here over latinamerica I'm from Mexico and well Avril was HUGE in comparation to Taylor, same goes for Brazil etc.. and this is only talking about her latest eras.

at the end in terms of full career Avril easily wins on everything + she's already having 10 years on the business now in 2012 and made a bigger impact everywhere.

If you say so I know Taylor had a huge tour but I don't follow Avril's career much. As far as in Australia though her latest album is 3xp and Fearless was 5xp

Avril's only major market is japan out of the 1.3m sold wordwide of GL 400,000 were from japan that's 1/3 of her overall market so she's very localized her Blackstar tour was a flop, only 2 sellouts of smaller theatre venue's across europe, a handfull of sellouts across south america, a mostly empty month long cross canada arena tour, no american, australian dates and a handfull of sold out asian dates, taylor could do a cross country sold out arena tour in america and make substantially more money therefore more successful.
