the hunger games film is "a month old." the first book is nearly four years old. the first harry potter film is nearly 11 years old. the first book is 15 years old. it doesn't matter how "old" something is unless you're obsessed with current trends and/or being perceived as cool. i don't care how old it gets, i'll still like it just the same.

i've been into the hunger games since before the film, so don't try to mock me for being inspired by something. we compliment/praise you and the rest of the contestants for having dreams and for sharing them with us, and also for sharing aspects of your personalities and likes/dislikes. my dream is to someday be a successfully published novelist, like suzanne collins, like j.k. rowling, etc.

you've been nothing but kind to me in the past, as i have been to you, so just because i'm not impressed with your attitude about the game YOU signed up for doesn't give you the right to be disrespectful. you can't blame the UKMix debacle for the way you're presenting yourself in this game and in the last challenge... especially since your entry was submitted BEFORE any of that came up.

Samesies, though I plan on pursuing a different, more stable career as well. It's rare for someone to be able to rely solely on creative writing as their main source of income.

it is "just a game." but games are meant to be won, and you could win... as a "judge," last cycle's host, and a former contestant (and winner), i know what the game is about. ultimately you're supposed to be having fun, but if it ever gets to a point where it doesn't seem like you care to be here it kind of makes the judges wonder why we put you through so many times in the first place.

same goes for every other contestant. we keep you around because we think you have potential. are you going to win a modeling contract, a record deal, or $1,000,000? no... but what each contestant gets out of the game depends largely on what they put into it. that's all i'm trying to say.

I see. I still like being here in this game, but I don't like to make a huge deal out of it (like some people) I just type up my entry and send it, I never really second guess myself or double check it at all. Each entry in this game has taken me less than 10 minutes.

My main objective of beating Monkey has already been realized so everything is just icing on the cake now.
