Didn't RCA want ''Outrageous'' or ''(I Got That) Boom Boom'' as the lead single? I quite like ''Outrageous'', but I think ''Breathe On Me'' would've been a better 4th single since the video wouldn't have given her The Knee Incident.
They wanted 'Outrageous' for the first single. Jive wanted 'Boom Boom' as the second single and fans wanted 'The Hook Up,' but Britney chose 'Toxic.' 'Breathe On Me' was supposed to be the follow-up to 'Outrageous' and 'Boom Boom' was supposed to be the final single.
The middle 8 is pure perfection. The video would have been one of her best.
Outrageous, when I move my body.
Outrageous, when I'm at a party.
Outrageous, in my sexy jeans.
Outrageous, when I'm on the scene.
Outrageous, my sex drive.
Outrageous, my shopping spree.
Outrageous, we on a world tour
And the media coverage because of her pregnancy, she was basically everywhere besides the charts.
