Not really. Dancin' is a cute song, but it's not something Lady A will be remembered for. Fortunately, they're performing next single Wanted You More on the Voice finale, so that'll hopefully smash.

Lady A is having a really strong album era, and I'm not surprised they won that Grammy tbh.

I don't want DAWMH to get that #1. It's really not deserving. and I hate to see every song having a shot at #1 in HCS. It seems that all the songs inside the top 10 is taking turns spending a week or two at the top. With a few exceptions of course. Those songs that were unfortunate enough and got blocked.

About the grammy win I was surprised actually. It got a lot of bad reviews so I was not really expecting anything. I love some of their songs but they are so overrated. You like Wanted You More?? I don't like it. It's a weak single imo.

I love the whole Own The Night album; I think it's their best yet. The only song I really dislike is "Friday Night."

I can see why OTN won- it has a cohesive sound, whereas Speak Now genre jumps so much that it's inconsistent. OTN was also a "safe" choice- it appeals to a broader audience than Speak Now does, and it has arguably produced more memorable hits than Speak Now did. Plus OTN spent a lot of time at the top of the country charts and has had consistent sales. If disco were here, she'd say that OTN was too polished (it is), too calculated (it is) and too narrow in its lyrical content (literally every song is romantic), but the same could easily be said for Speak Now.

It sounds more country than SN but I can't call it real country either. I was not expecting anything for SN to win. It's too pop. The difference between the two in my opinion is that OTN is so boring and there are no killer tracks. I think the most decent track is JAK. and I beg to disagree about their memorable hits, SN has produced more tbh.
