I honestly have no ****ing idea why parents care.
I just wanna be like "If you stop me from watching ****, I'll be the 1% of high school guys that doesn't watch it. "

I'm not a parent but if I were I would be more afraid of how it would influence my child. For instance, it's going to make them even more interested in trying sex and most kids (teens) don't know enough or don't care enough about the risks. They think they're invincible so they aren't always careful. I'd be worried my kids would troll the internet looking for sex on sites like Craigslist, etc. That can lead to loads of trouble. It's not the fact that they'd be horny that would bother me, that's natural. I'd probably sit with them and tell them all about the risks and what to avoid, where not to look, etc. I think I'd be a realistic parent. I know kids are going to be curious and get into ****.. but they need to be smart about it.
Wow. That just made me feel so old typing that.

Put yourselves in your parents shoes.
Do you really want to imagine your child, who you still think of as your little baby, masturbating to all sorts of crazy ass ****ography on the internet? I mean, no. I totally get why parents aren't for it.
And that's if you don't consider being in the shoes of religious parents.

I don't see myself ever having a problem with it. Maybe because I'm very lax, but the idea of my future children engaging in sexual acts wouldn't bother me as long as they're being safe about it. I don't even think I'd freak out if I had a daughter.

omg.
Anyways, They are just being parents. You could have the freedom you want when you are 18 or 21 but you'll surely miss the times when you are in their hands.

I would even be fine with my kids drinking soft liquor or doing weed if they were being safe about it and were 16, 17 years old. Telling my son or daughter that they couldn't drink alcohol if they really wanted to would only work against me, considering that they'd probably do so anyway behind my back - something that practically begs for a DUI or accident to occur. Not to mention that it promotes distrust.

I think the reason parents get mad is not because kids are watching **** but because it means kids are grown up now and are thinking about sex.

I used to drink with my dad when I was younger, but he would only give me a few sips
Children want what they can't have. Telling a child "no" is never a good thing to do.

My mom offered me chardonnay when I was in high school but I didn't want any. I think the option of having alcohol took the fun out of it, which, looking back, was almost a good thing.
