I just asked my father who he thinks is more of a legend, Tony Bennet or Madonna and he said Madonna as she's done a lot more and is way more famous. Believe it or not, not THAT many people even know about the guy.

My little brother's 12 and EVEN he knows who madonna is and knows that she's a legend. She's just far more KNOWN and respected as a legend.

Who cares who's the bigger legend between Madonna and Tony Bennett? You're comparing the respect of a pop legend to that of a jazz legend. Tony Bennett is highly respected. Otherwise, these younger artists wouldn't dare pay him any attention and he wouldn't be rewarded in his '80s. Britney is not known for her voice. The duets Tony Bennett had were with singers with amazing vocal abilities, who are also known for their voice;Mariah Carey, Amy Whinehouse, Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin, John Legend, Michael Buble etc.

Britney's voice isn't that great, and the fact is, she wouldn't be an ideal candidate to do a duet with him.

Lady GaGa has a gorgeous voice, which is a lot better than Britney's. And please don't bring up Everytime. That's just ONE song, and a produced song is not really showing anything in terms of voice. Britney always lip syncs too. That may not be a bad thing, but you would think she would sing every once in a while, especially wehn the performance doesn't require heavy choreo
