I wasnt saying that Janet doesnt sell outside of the states, but compared to her competitors, she is not a big outside seller.

Im also looking on Mediatraffic and I see NONE of her albums listed int the top 100 of alltime. So who knows????

ETA: I do see where they sold the same amount on the decade chart so she did outsell him when it first came out.

Well based on the media traffic numbers of invincible i showed you earlier. I dont think MT is 100% reliable but they seem accurate enough. And yeah, Janet was never a Global Phenomenom Like Madonna or Whitney, But she still sold her fair share of Numbers outside the states. And shes the 2nd biggest black female touring artist Behind Tina Turner.. so she really can't be local lmao. Prince if anything is the most local in this thread. Purple rain sold 20 Million, and 13 Million of those sales came from the US

Hell I'm an American and I stayed in Minneapolis(prince hometown) and I was never really exposed. Hell when I stayed there he got married up the street from my house.
