Not really no. I expected them to flop.
I mean the only reason 1D opened big and still selling is because they have the same fan base as Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber etc ..

See, I have never found them to be arrogant in interviews or what have you. I actually think they seem like likable guys. And for one, any of that aside, I think they make better music than their other boyband counterparts, so I do wish this would debut a big higher. To each their own though.

IMO it should've been out 3 weeks ago. They've lost some hype. 1D were gaining at their launch. The Wanted aren't. Shame, cause I like them, and UK folks are gonna be coming for them for this (they already are).

Yep, EP should have been released the week they did American Idol performance. It was such a WASTED opportunity. They was still buzz back then, and Glad You Came wasn't considered "overplayed" on the radio yet. They also could've benefited from the Easter sales bump.


By releasing now, hype has died down and GYC is dropping in airplay. Very poor timing by the record label!

I couldn't care less what artists do in their personal lives.. and it surely isn't going to stop me from purchasing their music if I like it.. I don't care if The Wanted shaded Christina, or the President, if I like their music, I'll buy it. I love Christina, but it's well known that she is a bitch at times, so I pay no mind to any of these stories either way.

Exactly. Some people just need to accept music for what it is. If someone considers The Wanted a great artist, then nothing should stop them from listening to The Wanted.

Thank you, praise Jesus someone agrees that they're nice guys. I don't see how being honest and open is arrogant. And I agree again.

I do think the same also. (About the sales)

It could've been better but oh well, it's an EP after all. We'll just wait and see what happens when they debut their full length album later this year. No matter what, i'll always stand by them, though.

Most of the people complaining are hypocrites. At least they're openly "bitchy" rather than indirectly like the woman they commented on.
