Both albums are great and both albums allowed the artists to explore their deep creative sides.
My vote goes for Born This Way, because I love the production and writing.
In the Zone is good too, but fair is fair.

in the zone is a timeless pop masterpiece of epic proportions. it was edgy and blended many different elements of music: electropop, trip hop, reggae, dance. every single sounded completely different: me against the music, toxic, everytime, outrageous. born this way is not as versatile sonically. government hooker is the only song that stands out as obviously different. the rest of the tracks kind of sound similar to each other.
born this way is good, but it just doesnt compare to ''in the zone''.
