Even a monkey can see that Irreplaceable was exactly what B'Day needed in order to make it one of Beyonce's most successful albums, and the reason it had it's longevity.

B'day is her least successful album besides 4.

It's not resorting to anything. Had the OP not put career in the title post and just Beyoncé, we'd be posting her receipts. This is not the case. Destiny's Child is apart of Bey's career and whether you wanna omit it or not, the fact still remains. Plus your numbers are all sorts of wrong.

I agree, but only in the sense that Gaga & Rih mostly make Pop music which is indeed more appealing worldwide.

Upgrade U & Listen weren't singles, Deja Vu & Ring The Alarm came before Irreplaceable
Here's how I see Beautiful Liar. I have no idea how it would do w/o Irreplaceable. It would have still been huge WW, but I'm not sure about US.
Listen was part of an updated version of B'Day Deluxe, plus it had Dreamgirls promo.
How I see it, B'Day would sell maybe 500K-1 million less if it wasn't for Irreplaceable :/

So a song saving an era is a bad thing now?
"Rude Boy" saved RR. I don't see what relevance that has to this thread, though.

It still sold very well. You can't be saying that especially since it was outsold by IASF by a small number...
B'Day was still a very successful album for Beyonce.

It was a reference to someone saying If Britney took Umbrella, Rihanna would probably be irrelevant, when someone also had the opportunity about to take Beyonce's biggest hit in the US.
Rude Boy didn't really save RR... It was only #1 in 3 countries, and it really didn't really give Rated R more sales, since it sold like 1 million :/

But it was not one of her most successful albums like you claimed, and according to some of these charts girls B'day sold 6 while SF sold 7 so if we go by what they say then a 1 mil difference is not a "small number"
And thank you for mentioning Irreplaceable, a song that was obviously Pop friendly and caught more attention worldwide, more than her urban material from that era.

You kinda proved my point, that w/o Irreplaceable, B'Day wouldn't have been as successful.
I thought B'Day sold 7 million WW

And who denied that? That is common knowledge and the same can be applied to Rude Boy for RR.
No, it sold 6.5 million max.

I completely CANNOT at the delusion of this thread! It's soooo funny to read the comments...
Call us when queen Rih Rih get a huge worldwide tour to prove her worlwide status over Beyoncé...
The only argument you have is the singles! That's ALL you got... it's embarassing really

I think when you guys hear the word "worldwide" you instantly think of all the Rihanna songs charting on itunes... then you think of "4" and then you assume "Oh My God... Rihanna for sure... Beyoncé is over... she flopped"
There are a ton of other factors to consider but your bitch doesn't provide them to ya... it's just singles and generic albums every year to keep you guys satisfied...
