I just discovered Notepad and Bookmarks because of this topic. Topics automatically get added to your bookmarks because I have over thousands? Notepad is really nice.
I use everything except Ignore list and Photo Album. All the other features are really useful

It's a storage drive. You can use it for custom fonts ir gifs. Pretty useful

Under My ATRL > Preferences > Default Thread Subscription Mode you probably don't have it set to "do not subscribe", so it automatically adds all the threads you post in to your bookmarks.

Categories: At the top of each forum there are several categories that you can click on to only get that type of thread.
Bookmarks: In any thread, under Actions you can add it to your bookmarks, and under My ATRL > Bookmarks you can view them. This way you can easily track if your favorite threads have new replies.
Notepad: My ATRL > Notepad, here you can easily store any text for later use.
Friend list: You can click "Friend" under any person's posts to add them to your friend list.
Ignore list: In a person's profile, under "Add or Remove as Friend" there is the option to add them to your ignore list.
Multi quote: Next to the "Reply w/ Quote" link there is a little bubble, you can click this for a bunch of posts in a thread to multi quote.
Photo album: Click any My ATRL link, in the menu on the left there's "Photo Albums".
Advanced search: Click "Search" at the top and then any of the "More Options" links.
Currently active threads: Click "Latest" at the top and then "Currently Active Threads" to view all of ATRL as one huge forum.

Notepad: I have NEVER used it, and I don't plan to.
Friend List: When I want to find a specific friend
Ignore List: I don't like to ignore people, even if the things they say are the most delusional on Earth.
Multi Quote: Sometimes.
Photo Album: I just added photos because I wanted to have that box
Advanced Search: Yeah! it's really helpful
Currently Active Threads: Naah, never.
