I'm happy some people do.
I doubt that's the majority of his fanbase or people who buy his albums, though.

It doesn't matter if it will be a hit or not. I'm sure it will be a hit as it was tailor-made to be one. My problem with Usher is the whole 'revolutionary pop' talk. How are you going to make statements like "I'm going to create a genre called 'revolutionary pop'" and then release a song that could have been recorded by Jason ****ing DeRulo? Usher BYE with your egotistical behind.

But artists say a lot of **** and always boost their music by saying things like that.
I mean look at Beyonce, she said she's creating her own genre for 4, did she? not trying to flamebait, just using it as an example.

And I feel the same about those artists, but we're talking about Usher here.
Beyonce didn't release a generic dance-pop song to get a hit because her previous single didn't impact well enough on pop radio.

But you still surprised that he is? I mean he released OMG, DJ and More on last album.
He is not gonna change now. It's working for him and Chris Brown. Releasing both urban and pop dance singles.
Until the pop dance trend fades, I don't see either of them releasing fully R&B albums.

No, I'm not surprised. However, "Climax" gave me and others hope that he was more concerned with putting out great music and bringing R&B back to the forefront. I don't really care what's working for him or Chris Brown. I'm not supporting it.

What kind of generic mess? Of his generic pop songs, "More" is probably the worst. I wouldn't mind if this took after "DJ Got Us Falling In Love" a bit more, but yeah doesn't sound like there's much to this song.
