This is one of the things that pisses me off the most. If they were going to go for a repack with altered tracklist in America anyway, couldn't they have released the one with better music? There would have been no harm, no foul in a tri-lingual disc, as crazy as it sounds. Keep Korean title tracks in Korean, the Boys in English, that Dev feature on the Bad Girl remix if they want that on a bonus disc or something...the whole thing could have been managed much better.
I love that they were on Letterman and Kelly, but ****, the copy of the Boys I have is nothing more than a really pretty coaster.
I was so dead when I saw them promoting the KOREAN album in the U.S

And a Dev feature + Steve Aoki remix in Japan. Like...why the **** would they do that? For ****'s sake if you spend the budget on those two things, like, what the **** are you thinking as a manager putting them out in a country more concerned with your aegyo tracks anyway?

SM always put our hopes up about SNSD new releases and drop an album full of fillers.
I'm sorry, but i love SNSD too much, and that type of thing makes me hate SM even more. (already hate them due the whole TVXQ/JYJ thing)
I mean, listen to their japanese album and then listen to The Boys, it's like 2 different artists.
Oh. Well I agree. The Boys grew on me but it still pales in comparison to their Japanese and 2nd Korean album.
My wish for them is they stop pushing the cutesy music on SNSD they've outgrown it. The Boys was loaded with that mess. I'm here for mature stuff on the Japanese album.
Except not one of them have had a proper JYP title track, compared to miss A who are technically on AQ entertainment despite every title track being by JYP. What kind of strange management He really ought to throw Cube a bone.

If they have released an ep with "Gee", "Oh!", "Tell me Your Wish (Genie)", "Hoot", "Run Devil Run" and "The Boys (English Ver.)" as the single, i'm pretty sure that it would sell more than their actual ep.

Absolutely. They could have thrown together pretty much a greatest hits set with a few English songs and it would have been absolutely perfect. Lacking those killer album tracks from the Japanese album and songs like Show and Star Star Star would have been okay if we got something of that quality. Dammit.
This is the kind of thing I want to magnify when I go to college. I think I could work at a label like this and make it so they don't keep ****ing over the fans, and consequently, the artists.

JYP is a monster. He knows exactly what the korean public wants, all of his title tracks snatch those awards with no mercy. He only didn't know how to make his own music. (even if they're awesome, they're not on the same level as the title tracks he gives to 2AM, 2PM, WG and others.)

I alternate between 2PM & SHINee as having the highest quality discography of boy groups.
If you ask me today I'll say SHINee cause of Sherlock but as soon as 2PM comeback I'm sure it'll change.
Sherlock as a title track = one of the best things they've done as a group besides Lucifer
Sherlock as a mini album =

But CUBE's production is getting so much better I'm not sure if I'd put "Volume Up" above "Touch" but it's def more interesting/exciting, and less predictable. Same goes to Bubble Pop, Troublemaker and Banana ()

Troublemaker's intro borders on post-dubstep which is absolutely the last thing I expected. So that's cool. But some of B2ST's discog sounds super cheap, and 4Minute will forever have Hot Issue staining their discography.

Seriously do it!! I kind of hate how they release something or have them perform here only to bring them back to Korea. They need to have a full list of promotional activities and plans/interviews. And they have to follow up. They can't be too long apart or interest/buzz dies off pretty fast. My problem is that they always make these plans when they have something big coming up in another country. They waste so much money.
B2ST is filled with ALL kinds of rejects, I've already talked about it before.

The best discography out of the boybands for me is 2AM's one, all of their ballads are so full of meaning and their voices never get me bored.
Actually Saint O'Clock is my favourite korean album of 2010, their best release for me.
2AM + 2PM
