Oh damn, I read HDD's chart wrong, I thought they were releasing the week after.
I'm not sure what to expect from them. I'm curious to see their sales.

The album isn't even up for pre-sales on iTunes, which is a bit odd. I'm guessing Island Def Jam is marketing them as a singles artist.
Probably will sell in the 30k-50k range? My money is on Adele returning to #1.

Sounds about right. I don't think they have a rabid One Direction-type following.

We won't know until tomorrow evening. They only give predictions for new releases on Wednesday (unless an old release is projected to be #1).

The Wanted fans are older, at least based on my observations at The Wanted concert in NY. I thought I'd be surrounded by an army of 12 yr old girls like a One Direction/Big Time Rush concert, but it turned out there were plenty of gay men and adult women standing near me.
Good for them for having a nice balance of older and younger fans at their shows, but I think they need more of the rabid tweens to get the big first week 100k+ sales.

Jason Mraz's new album "Love is a Four Letter Word" is in the running to become the singer/songwriter's first No. 1 next week on the Billboard 200 chart. That is, if Lionel Richie's "Tuskegee" steps aside.
Both albums are on track to sell around 100,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, April 22 -- so say industry sources. Richie's "Tuskegee" album topped the Billboard 200 for the first time this past week, selling 129,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Mraz has so far peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 2008's "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.," which started with 73,000 in its first week. If Mraz's new set moves 100,000, it will mark his best sales frame yet, surpassing the bow of 2005's "Mr. A-Z," which launched at NO. 5 with 81,000.
Also headed for a top five bow next week is Train's "California 37," which could start around Nos. 4 or 5 with perhaps 70,000 sold. It could result in the band's highest-charting album yet. They've gone as high as No. 6 -- twice -- with "Drops of Jupiter" in 2001 and "My Private Nation" in 2003. The act's last studio album, 2009's "Save Me, San Francisco," debuted and peaked at No. 17 with a 27,000 first week according to SoundScan.

It's another close battle for #1 as Jason Mraz and Lionel Richie duke it out for the top spot. With a few days left, we're giving a slight nod to Richie, but anything can happen between now and Monday morning. Here's how it looks headed into the weekend:
Lionel Richie (Mercury Nashville) 100-110k
*Jason Mraz (Atlantic) 100-110k
Adele (XL/Columbia) 85-90k
*Train (Columbia) 70-75k
Nicki Minaj (YM/CM/Universal Republic) 50-55k
One Direction (Syco/Columbia) 50-55k
*Future (Epic) 35-40k
Gotye (Fairfax/Universal Republic) 30-35k
Bonnie Raitt (Redwing) 28-32k
Rascal Flatts (Big Machine) 27-30k
Monica (RCA) 24-27k
Alabama Shakes (ATO) 22-25k
Luke Bryan (Capitol Nashville/EMI) 21-24k
*Jack Johnson (Brushfire/Universal Republic) 21-24k
The Hunger Games (Universal Republic) 18-21k
*Neon Trees (Mercury/IDJ) 17-20k
*Debuts (4/19p)

I don't know if the Soundscan numbers for this week have been posted, but after this week, it should be over 8.8 million.
