I just hope the whole album isn't over produced. Some songs work well with that level of production (like ATR), but others are best left with just a piano, or with a more basic production even with additional instruments, like "Soviet Kitsch" for example.
At least we'll have the comfort of knowing that the live versions of the songs will be guaranteed to kick ass. Oh, and I heard that she'll go to Russia this summer to perform at a music festival. Her first time being there since she left as a child.

Yeah I heard that too but are you serious she hasn't been there since she's left  Woah, that's surprising to me. I thought thats where she lived, I feel like she's never playing here in the states. She's always in Europe I feel so I just assumed she lived in Russia after she got done playing in Europe  Yeah ATR and Machine sound great with that kind of production but I prefer her organic sound. The only other instrument I'd really enjoy is her signature cello accompaniment ala Us

I much prefer it without the extra instrumentation, but this version isn't bad at all. At least she didn't butcher it like "Ne Me Quitte Pas".
