I usually support Shakira with everything but the Dream is the WORST producer. He Compltely ruined Mariah Carey's Memoirs album and Mariah's Memoirs album is probably her WORST album( yes, worse than charmbracelet). The production is so cheap and hip hop, I hate it so much.

He made Mariah go from This amazing music:

to this utter crap

Love on top, though good is not a showcase of the man's ability as a producer. He is just too bland and his sound sounds like something from the early 2000's.

I stand corrected. Thats why i said "though good." Phew! I was beating myself up thinking the Dream actually produced a song that I actually liked. If he is writing with Shakira then that might be ok. hmm.

I just hope Shakira stays far far away from anything remotely sounding like hip-hop. That is a sound that she must stop trying. It rarely sounds convincing.

It never does with her!

But I hope she really devotes herself to radio friendly songs, but still tries to wow people in a way, that Top 40 music rarely does. That's my wish. And maybe a long, crazy wig. Like in WW in 2001.

So if a bit of urban sounds achieve that, then I'm fine with it. But her main alley should still be pop on this new record. And please, no latin-influenced tracks Shaki! Not even translations.

I definitely hope the new album has no translations. They make the albums seem so short and repetitive. Plus, they always divide her views on Youtube because some people are watching the Spanish version and others are watching the English version. Release one version, have one video, and concentrate all the views into one song.

I agree that the latin-influenced tracks can get kind of annoying, especially her recent move to release all of those El Cata songs ("Loca", "Rabiosa", "Addicted To You.")
