This will not be a predictable year though. Look at all the artists coming out now that we never thought would be contenders. (The Wanted, Fun, 1D, Rita, Gotye, even Calvin) There's going to be many more new artists emerging this year with immediate success, and that's the most detail we can get into until they actually come out.

To me, it's quite obvious that Somebody That I Used to Know will be the next #1, and it will have a really long run and block most of the songs everybody is suggesting in this thread from #1.

Especially with the streaming now included, if you look at the on-demand chart, it basically boosts all the hip hop and alternative songs, and hurts most of the female pop songs.

Ive just been really happy so far this year that not a single song for 2012 has had more than three weeks at #1 .. fun. might break that but still I love seeing this happen. Hopefully Alot more artists will hit #1 this year

i think possible #1's could be Starships, Somebody That I Used To Know, Rumor Has It, Wild Ones, Glad You Came, Dressin' Up, and maybe Call Me Maybe and What Makes You Beautiful can top if they pick up more. I know We Are Young will get a couple more weeks atop the Hot 100 and Part Of Me may hit the summit again if the music video, Sims3 commerical, airplay increase, and performances have a large impact on sales
