She obviously have read negative press about her performances and her albums. I think what she tries to say is that she hasn't read anything negative lately.
NME is proving nothing. Somebody could have told her about their ''award'', but it doesn't mean Gaga spends the afternoons reading articles about herself.

She'd be wise to listen to complaints from NME, critics, and the media because they played a key part in her success. Without those good album reviews and the media covering every little thing she wore and every little thing she said about BTW, she'd be in a different place. They covered every goddamn word she said when she was hyping BTW through the roof.

Yeah, insecure people tend to get mad and broken easily when something negative about them is said, I can see why she does that and honey if the media a nd press didnt hype and overrate the **** out of you you wouldnt get half of the success so dont be ungrateful

Seriously,this could either be taken as a smart move or a completely dumbass rule.
It may be smart because last time Gaga AND the press kept this album on our mind.
On the other hand,it could potentially put Gaga's career in jeopardy.
I'm not going to sit here and type ******** about her being egotistical (even if she displays it sometimes) or her "not talking to her fans".She's done more for us little monsters than some of the other girls do for their fans,and this is NME magazine,a source which can become BIASED and HYPOCRITICAL when it comes to Gaga.I just really want her to think this through before she ACTUALLY goes on this "blackout".

I'm sure she's talking about gossip magazines. She definitely reads reviews and magazine articles. She said once to a fan she hated her NME cover article (meaning that she read it). And she reads twitter which is worse than any press.
