Think of artists you love, but you THINK you hate because of a certain conflict with their stan-base.

Navy:

I love Rih, but in terms of artistry she has a ways to go before SERIOUSLY being considered anywhere near Beyonce's status. The Navy just doesn't get it. Sales is one thing, quality is another. On top of that, I can't help but feel many in the Navy were ALWAYS Bey-haters, since the early days of Destiny's Child, and Rihanna came along and became "Their great hope" of ending Bey's popularity.


Christina stans:

I love her too, but I've heard stories of them having prayer circles -- wishing for other pop girls to flop. Craziness??

I voted for the wrong option. I hate only an artist, stanbase has nothing to do with that.

The stans definitely. I may dislike a certain artist's discography but I can't honestly think of any popstar that I hate.

That's why I don't let my hatred of a fanbase affect how I perceive an artist.

I don't care about their fans, although I do think some fans are really pathetic. I only dislike (don't hate) artists who I think are awful.

I don't hate either. It's stupid to hate people you've only encountered online, especially over something as superficial as their opinions of a certain artist . I'm not gonna hate someone just because we disagree on something so petty.

As for the artist, no I don't hate them either. Like I said before its stupid to hate someone you never met, especially when they don't even know you exist. What a waste of energy.

Katy stans are awful. I actually liked a couple of Katy's songs (most of them I hated), but her fans are just awful. There are these Katy stans on twitter who say the worst things to about other artists, mainly Gaga, and there fans. They tell Gaga fans that Gaga's a flop and they should kill thmselves. It really makes me want to smack them.

Well put. I agree to a certain extent but some stan bases slash individual stans do the MOST and attack an artist not on their music or talent but on superficial and unrelated things like their weight or by comparing them to an animal. Like ENOUGH.

I don't "hate" anybody and my opinion can't be swayed by crazy stans/fans. It's impossible for me to care enough about someone I don't know to actually hate them or let them alter my view of someone else I may or may not like.

I don't know, I don't really have hate for anyone. I mean, I don't know any of you guys in real life, so it seems kind of petty to hate a stan for being an annoying stan. Same goes for the artist. If you spend copious amounts of time "hating" on someone, then you're just as much a fan as their own fans.
