but there's still no release date
Avril's Description:
“I don’t think it’s as young,” she says of her new album, “A lot of acoustic guitars and pianos. There’s a deep message…it’s emotional, [but] it’s a good time because the album is a little more upbeat I think. It’s got some pretty crazy fun songs. It’s about living life and just like making the most of it and having a good time.”

I think her and Nicki Minaj may have collabed. One of Nicki's associates just tweeted "Im officially an Avril Lavigne fan" and also mentioned her in a ustream.

I hope they release the lead single on May 14, 2012. That's the date they released Complicated back in 2002. I hope she's planning something for her 10th birthday in music business
