Records are meant to be broken, and Adele could do so, but going at it more analytically, I just don't understand how much people can't take of it. Isn't there a limit of 21? After her third single I was done with her. I wish her all the success though.

Eminem with 42 million sales off of only 2 albums there, only a truly bad bitch.

Basically. I just don't know with her anymore.

Hm...
She already released 3 singles, almost 4...
And I don't think she will release more tha 4-5 singles from this album
So...I don't think that 21 will get to 32m.
But I'm pretty sure she's gonna reach 25m...
Adele is unforeseeable so I really don't know..her album sales could explode again...
I still voted yes

She'll stop at 27 million, surely. Either way, it's incredible that a woman can sell this much in just a little bit over a year..

I don't think so...
I am guessing that the era is over halfway over now. The Grammy hype boost is done now too
I think 21 only has Rumor Has It & Turning Tables left as Singles.
Selling this much during the digital era though is simply incredible!

It's going to be difficult to beat 1, but let's be honest, for a studio album to sell that amount in this day and age (it will be probably reach 30m when all is said and done) is phenomenal. Probably equivalent to twice that much in the pre-digital era.
Adele, Avril and Lana.
3 very different queens but all rule equally.

yea she can,and her album is at 24M right now so she's at number 2 and passed norah.

Adele heads IFPI 2011 global countdown
Adele’s 21 has topped IFPI’s top global sellers chart for 2011 with the highest calendar sales since the countdown was created a decade ago
.
The XL album finished as the past year’s biggest seller after shifting 18.1 million copies worldwide, easily beating the highest previous tally recorded by the IFPI for Eminem’s The Eminem Show in 2002. His album sold 13.9 million units that calendar year
|
she finished 2011 with more than 18M copies sold, and since the beginning of 2012 she sold an extra 6M and still selling, she will end up with the biggest album of 2012 maybe with more than 8M copies, so she will pass 30M eventually it's not that difficult.
“I’m becoming a little more comfortable in front of the camera. I wasn’t used to it before. I was thrown into a new lifestyle and everything I do is kind of filmed or photographed. I’m a private guy. I like to keep to myself. I’m shy, maybe. It gets kind of tricky for me but, I’m beginning to find the fun in it. I don’t take myself too seriously so if I’m front of the camera, that’s what you’re going to get, me clowning around."(Bruno Mars)

This. #2 for sure but it has no momentum/new singles to get it past that globally. Very good achievement tho.

Maybe she can based off this.
Florence Welch + Jessie Ware + { ADELE } + Dido Armstrong + Christina Aguilera
