I hope Nicki's career will be like Lil Wayne's, like how he has Tha Carter (Pink Friday) saga bug then he also has a rock album (maybe Nicki could do a full on pop album) and he also has like the IANAHB saga. I want her to be diverse and always changing things up like that.

Yeah that's kinda what I mean in my post. Like for her main series albums she should brand them with Pink Friday, but then she can also branch off and do other albums, sagas, experimental, etc.

i agree but if she does put on a full pop album the full URBAN ALBUM MUST COME IMMEDIATEDLY ...with wayne giving to the urban community for so long, he can do whatever he wants and not get heavily persecuted like nicki does. with it being so early in nicki's career, that full on pop disc will prob have to wait for a while lol

It just becomes a mess. Like, if I want to enjoythe HipHop tracks, I don't want to have to skip through Starships and Turn Me On, and if I want to dance, I don't want to have to skip through Roman Reloaded and Stupid Hoe. It's just so much better if each genre is grouped together on seperate discs; it would keep everyone happy.

I like the idea of having a few Pink Friday albums, but I would like them to be released consecutively (her third album should be the last of the PF series), and not come back in 6 years and just add a random Pink Friday album to her collection.

That's weird. Mix tapes are obviously for the hardcore fans and not the general public (I've never seen my friends download mix tapes) so its weird she doesn't really care to give back to her fans... If money is the motive that is.

I think if she did it right like Lil Wayne does it would make sense. Like he Always hypes the big releases (TC) but then for the other albums I think he mostly just puts them out to keep his name in people's heads and for his fans.

I don't mind it. The difference between PF and PF:RR (from the tracks we have) is that Pink Friday was able to merge multiple genres into the same song. She has songs on that album that are Hip-Pop, Hip-Hop, and even some R&B influences amongst the tracks. However, on PF:RR the genres seem seperated, and barely merge together, having Roman Reloaded, and Roman in Moscow (Hip-Hop songs with not many other influences) and also having Starships and Turn Me On (dance-pop songs). The closest thing to merging the genres on PF:RR (from what we've been given) is Stupid Hoe, but that is much more Hip Hop than it is Pop.

When it all boils down, a pop-release would be good two albums from now, after she's further established herself.

I wish she'd do mixtapes again, but I really don't see her doing them.

oh but yes she did say that ...i have no idea what her motive was behind it...she could remix other people's songs though and make a mixtape out of that..

but tbh i think her "mixtapes" are her features

album + mixtape + features = over saturated.

because almost every song she releases has a decent amount of longevity
