It's great that they raise awareness but awareness becomes ineffective after so-long. They've already had 11 documentaries and the UN has been involved with bringing Kony down for years. Documentary #12 will incite similar behaivor. Angsty bandwagoning teenagers will share a link and think they're saving the world. But Documentary #12 isn't going to be any more effective then Documentary #11.

Now that you know about Kony (so, yes, I'm giving props to IC) donate to OTHER, REPUTABLE charities that DIRECTLY help these children.

Does the military work for Kony? Does the president of Uganda? Capture/Kill Kony. Take the guns aways from the young soldiers and put them back in school. That's what the IC wants, is it not? Why would the military want to harm the victims?

IC isn't going to take away guns from young soldiers if all they do is make documentaries and support dangerous military interventions that risk the lives of innocent youths.

If you're going to donate, do it through the UN or other charities with better reputations and backgrounds.

Don't Support Kony 2012. They support an unnecessary and risky escalation of military forces. Don't donate to IC at ALL. You WILL be contributing to a potentially fatal situation.
