Katy Perry holds on to #1 for a second week. In the mean time, her previous single The One That Got Away explodes 27 - 10, reaching a new peak! The benefit comes from last week, when I was practicing to be in a sing-off, which unfortunately got rescheduled to next week . That benefit also extendes to Avril Lavigne, who also reachs a new peak as Wish You Were Here gains 11 - 7. Both songs were choices I chose to sing because they were supposed to be love songs, and sad love songs work I think. Anyways, I practiced singing both of them and I'm doing good on both of them.

Miley Cyrus debuts with her cover of Bob Dylan's You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go. I'm glad I have something new from Miley so YAY!

Whitney Houston remains on the chart, but I Will Always Love You dips 2 - 8. Still, a #2 peak is quite impressive. Expect this song to chart for at least a few more weeks. Miley's debut traded in Whitney's I Wanna Dance With Somebody, which came in at #4 last week.

We Found Love and World Go Boom (which features 2 of Rihanna's songs) move back up 4 -3 and 6 - 4. Katy Perry though remains unbothered as Part Of Me maintains the #1 spot.
