Ellen de Generes asks Justin for the reason as to why it's called Boyfriend, and Justin apparently responds by saying "Basically I’m talking to this girl if I was your boyfriend I would never let you go'.
Why did Ellen even feel the need to ask him this question? Would she ask a female singer for the reason as to why she calls her song Girlfriend? I doubt it. Ellen seems to be a little hypocritical here.
