In the 80's/90's there was no bigger male artist than Michael Jackson. He defined pop culture, broke barriers, and created a legacy that became un****withable. Now in the 21st century, with so many pop pretenders, which male pop star is the new gold standard of what a male performer should be?
Justin Timberlake. Not that we have much to choose from.

Justin Bieber. Whether you like him or not you have to admit, he is the only male Popstar currently that affects pop culture and sells concert tickets and albums quicker than any other.
Justin Timberlake hasn't been relevant in the music industry since 5/6 years ago.
Tiziano Ferro of course. He's the standard by which other male pop stars should be judged.
Quante ne vorrei fare ma poi rimango fermo
Guardo la vita in foto e già è arrivato un altro inverno
Non cambio mai su questo mai, distruggo tutto sempre
Se vi ho deluso chieder scusa non servirà a niente
Not the Avril stan talking about names not ringing a bell
Ikr it must be serious.

and let's be honest anyway, how many male popstars that are big stars exsist right now?? I can count on one hand. Most male singers in the US ever since around 2002/03 have either been Rappers or labeled as R&B. There really hasn't been a strictly pop guy other than the two justins.
