Gaga Fans Compete With 'Professional Queuers' for Tickets
Some Hong Kong fans of Lady Gaga were left disappointed yesterday after the first batch of tickets for a concert in the city were sold out within three hours at one outlet, the South China Morning Post reported.
Fans vied with “professional queuers” and ticket touts to secure bookings for the concert, according to the report. The tickets were available exclusively to American Express card holders, who were each restricted to eight, the Post said.
One unidentified woman said she was paid HK$70 ($9.03) an hour to stand in the queue and had been in line for 30 hours, according to the report. Ada Lau said she bought eight of the HK$1,580 tickets and immediately sold four at a 150 percent profit, the Post said.
Simon Clarke bought eight tickets for HK$480 each, as a surprise for his two sons, whom he said would be inspired by Lady Gaga, according to the Post. Clarke said he had asked the family’s domestic helper to stand in the queue from 6:30 a.m. to secure the tickets, it reported.
Britneys voice is very versatile.
She can reach very high and low notes.
Obviosuly shes not more talanted than Whitney was, but she does have an amazing voice, believe it or not. Her voice is more versatile than Gagas.
One year old album, no current single, no #01 single!
An ATRL Little Koon "This album isn't going to just fall off the face of the earth like many of you believe. Nothing about The Fame or The Fame Monster were front-loaded, and the same was true for "Applause" and will be true for ARTPOP "
4 weeks later ARTPOP was already out of the top20 in most markets, including the US
This is so hard for me to write but i just came back from the store and they had hundreds of copy';s of Artpop on sale not a single copy was touched. I broke down in the store I started to beg people to buy them. They called the police and escorted me out the store. I shouted on my way out Long Live Artpop I bet you they thought i was a Gay Jihadist but I can't stand to see the queen flop like this. I say we round up an army and force people to buy the album.
