So here's this thing.. I made a poll a couple of days ago asking who the Ballad Queenn was, and Kelly Clarkson wad not included... Not on purpose, she just never popped into my head. Theres was another poll today which I don't remember wat it was about, but kelly once again, was left out although she shouldve been included. Im in no way shading or dissing her, but I heard "stronger" on the radio just now and got to thinking.

I don't think she's forgettable, she just doesn't play the fame card and she doesn't care about being a star in the slightest. So I think that's why she doesn't have the crazy pop star following. She doesn't rely on gimmicks, doesn't wear crazy outfits to make a statement..doesn't care to be a skinny mini and wear mini skirts with her thong up her ass.. and you won't catch her hooking up all over the place and having her public life so exposed. She lives in Texas & Nashville, not LA.. the tabloids have to dig to get anything on her. Hell, she skips the red carpet at almost every event because she hates it. Most stars live to strut their **** all over the carpet.. she didn't even do it at the Grammy's this year It's sad sometimes because her fans would love her to.. but she just honestly doesn't get into the fame part of the industry.

She's just all about her voice.. and it's one of the best out there, IMO. Not just because I stan for her, but most people are here for the crazy pop antics and not just a voice.

Very. She doesn't have the impact Gaga, Britney has.

She has a voice.. but it doesn't keep up track with Adele, Christina, Beyonce.

She doesn't have the awards to back it up or the album sales.

She just lacks in every department. I don't notice her after her first single..

Yes, she is. There's nothing that memorable about her other than a few hit songs. This speaks nothing to how talented she may be, it's just reality. She only made headlines because she was the first AI winner.

Yes she is, unfortunately. No matter how many massive hits she has, no matter how much music she puts out, the general public still acts like she hasn't done anything since BREAKAWAY. It pisses me off, but it's the way it is. She doesn't want to be famous, she doesn't walk red carpets. She doesn't go to high profile events or parties. She keeps everything under the radar, while other pop stars are constantly in your face.

Again, I think what people don't realize is that Kelly could have all the impact she wanted to, but she doesn't want the fame. Maybe that makes her forgettable to some because she keeps out of the public eye when she's not doing an awards show or something promotional.

Look back at 2005. Kelly was the biggest star on the planet but she was f*cking miserable and said it was a great time for her career but she wasn't happy. She had the body, the look, the songs and the stats. Her management wanted her to be the biggest star in the world and she did NOT, which is why she fired them. It's not that she doesn't have the potential to be an even bigger star, she just would rather be happy. Good on her, I say. She's probably the most grounded celebrity out there.
